#1007367 Single Session Therapy
Single-session therapy (SST)
This is an intentional endeavour where the therapist and client meet with the purpose of helping the client deal with a pressing issue in that session while understanding that more help is available if needed. Drawing on Windy Dryden’s book The Single-Session Counselling Primer: Principles and Practice, this online workshop describes the mindset that is needed to practise SST and the practice that tends to flow from this mindset.
