This course is for parents and caregivers and can also be delivered to practitioners, students & staff from the social care and educational sectors.
The course is made up of eight sessions and provides easy to implement strategies and techniques to use in the home.
This can be achieved by one-to-one bespoke or group sessions once a week or more depending on the client base. Each session is for two hours in a classroom setting. We also deliver seminars and workshops.
The course also understands & recognises where needed the issues, cultures & beliefs of the BME community.
In this course parents and caregivers will learn that domestic abuse can be detrimental to children’s growth, development, happiness and well-being.
Courses are jargon-free with concise essential messages that parents and caregivers will identify with.
Parents will learn to protect themselves and their children from an imminent threat. With the knowledge gained parents will be able to recognise an abuser and stop the perpetual cycle of domestic abuse for their children.
